Workisy tracks cases across all Indian courts including the Supreme Court of India, all 25 High Courts, District Courts, NCLT, NCLAT, RERA authorities, Consumer Dispute Redressal Forums, Income Tax Appellate Tribunal, Debt Recovery Tribunals, and other specialised tribunals. We integrate with the eCourts platform, individual High Court websites, and tribunal-specific portals to provide comprehensive coverage. If you have cases in a jurisdiction we do not currently cover, our team can add it during implementation.

When a new order or judgment is uploaded, the AI downloads the document, parses its content, and generates a plain-language summary so your team can act on it without reading the full text first.

Bulk operations — like generating status reports for all cases under a specific client or reassigning cases when a lawyer leaves — are built into the workflow.

How does the deadline and limitation period tracking work?

When you add a case to Workisy, the system automatically identifies key dates: filing deadlines, statutory limitation periods, compliance timelines from court orders, and hearing dates. You can also add custom deadlines for internal milestones. Each deadline gets an escalation chain — for example, the assigned associate is notified 7 days before, the supervising partner at 3 days, and the managing partner at 1 day. Overdue items are flagged prominently on the dashboard and in the daily briefing email.

Is our case data secure and confidential?

Attorney-client privilege and data confidentiality are foundational to our platform. All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.3. We implement role-based access controls so associates only see cases they are assigned to, while partners get firm-wide visibility. Audit logs track every access and modification. We do not use your case data to train AI models. Our infrastructure is hosted on SOC 2 Type II certified servers with data residency in India, and we can execute a Data Processing Agreement tailored to your firm's requirements.

The setup involves importing your existing case list (from spreadsheets, existing software, or manual entry), configuring court connections, setting up team assignments and notification preferences, and training your team. For large firms with 1,000+ cases, the import and court-mapping process takes 3 to 5 business days. We provide hands-on training for every team member and a dedicated success manager to ensure adoption.
