Job Description:

As an Oracle CPQ Consultant, you specialize in implementing and configuring Oracle CPQ solutions for streamlined quoting processes. Proficiency in Oracle CPQ Cloud modules, understanding of sales operations, and expertise in Oracle implementation methodologies are crucial. Your role involves collaborating with stakeholders to automate quoting, pricing, and product configuration processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication are essential for understanding business requirements and delivering tailored solutions. Staying updated with Oracle CPQ advancements enables the delivery of efficient quoting solutions. Providing comprehensive training and support to end-users facilitates the successful adoption of Oracle CPQ systems, optimizing sales processes for clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand sales processes, pricing strategies, and quoting requirements.
    • Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and automation using Oracle CPQ.
  2. Solution Design and Configuration:

    • Design and configure Oracle CPQ Cloud modules to automate quoting, pricing, and product configuration processes.
    • Customize workflows, rules, and templates to align with business requirements and sales strategies.
  3. Integration and Customization:

    • Integrate Oracle CPQ with other systems and applications, such as CRM and ERP systems, to ensure seamless data exchange and end-to-end process integration.
    • Develop custom extensions and integrations using Oracle CPQ APIs and tools as needed.
  4. Testing and Quality Assurance:

    • Develop test scenarios and scripts to validate Oracle CPQ configurations and customizations.
    • Conduct thorough testing, including unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the reliability and accuracy of quoting processes.
  5. Training and Support:

    • Provide comprehensive training to end-users on Oracle CPQ functionality, workflows, and best practices.
    • Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to users, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to ensure smooth adoption and utilization of Oracle CPQ systems.
