Job Description:

As an SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Consultant, you specialize in implementing and configuring SAP IBP solutions for supply chain planning. Collaborating with stakeholders, you tailor SAP IBP modules like demand planning, supply planning, and S&OP to meet business needs. Your responsibilities include system configuration, data integration, and ensuring alignment with supply chain processes. Proficiency in SAP IBP modules, supply chain planning concepts, and SAP implementation methodologies is essential. Strong analytical skills and effective communication are crucial for understanding requirements and delivering solutions. Staying updated with SAP IBP advancements ensures the delivery of efficient planning solutions. Providing training and support to users facilitates the successful adoption of SAP IBP systems, enhancing supply chain operations for clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand supply chain processes, challenges, and requirements.
    • Analyze existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization using SAP IBP.
  2. Solution Design and Configuration:

    • Design and configure SAP IBP modules, including demand planning, supply planning, and S&OP, to meet specific business needs.
    • Customize workflows, planning algorithms, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to align with supply chain objectives.
  3. Data Integration and System Setup:

    • Integrate SAP IBP with other systems and data sources to ensure seamless data exchange and accurate planning.
    • Configure master data, hierarchies, and planning models within SAP IBP to support supply chain planning processes.
  4. Testing and Quality Assurance:

    • Develop test scenarios and scripts to validate SAP IBP configurations and customizations.
    • Conduct thorough testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the reliability and accuracy of planning processes.
  5. Training and Support:

    • Provide comprehensive training to end-users on SAP IBP functionality, workflows, and best practices.
    • Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to users, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to ensure smooth adoption and utilization of SAP IBP systems.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in SAP IBP modules, including demand planning, supply planning, and S&OP.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning concepts and processes.
