Oracle Demand Planning

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Demand Planning Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in demand planning processes and extensive experience with the Oracle Demand Planning module. As an Oracle Demand Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing demand planning solutions for our clients using Oracle applications.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their demand planning requirements and business processes.
• Design and configure Oracle Demand Planning solutions to meet client needs, including forecasting, demand sensing, and demand shaping.
• Customize Oracle Demand Planning functionalities to align with client-specific requirements and industry best practices.
• Lead workshops and training sessions to educate clients on Oracle Demand Planning functionality and usage.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and accuracy of Oracle Demand Planning implementations.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Oracle Demand Planning applications, including identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated on new features and enhancements in Oracle Demand Planning and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to deliver successful Oracle Demand Planning implementations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in demand planning with a focus on Oracle Demand Planning module.
• Strong understanding of demand planning processes and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Demand Planning module, including forecasting techniques, statistical models, and demand sensing algorithms.
• Proficiency in Oracle Demand Planning configuration and customization.
• Experience with Oracle ERP integration and data migration for Demand Planning implementations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Oracle Demand Planning certification(s) or relevant Oracle certifications in supply chain management.
• Experience with other Oracle supply chain planning modules, such as Oracle Supply Chain Planning (SCP) or Oracle Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS).
• Knowledge of Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) for reporting and visualization of demand planning data.
• Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
• Understanding of industry-specific challenges and requirements in demand planning, such as those in manufacturing, retail, or consumer goods.
