Job Description:

We are looking for a proficient SAP TM Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in logistics and transportation management, coupled with extensive experience in SAP TM implementation and customization. As an SAP TM Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP TM solutions to streamline transportation processes and enhance operational efficiency for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their transportation management requirements and business processes.
• Design and configure SAP TM solutions to meet client needs, including transportation planning, order management, carrier selection, and freight settlement.
• Customize SAP TM functionalities to align with client-specific requirements and industry best practices.
• Lead workshops and training sessions to educate users on SAP TM functionality and usage.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and accuracy of SAP TM implementations.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP TM applications, including identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to deliver successful SAP TM implementations.
• Stay updated on new features and enhancements in SAP TM and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in logistics and transportation management, with a focus on SAP TM.
• Strong understanding of transportation processes, including freight planning, tendering, execution, and tracking.
• Hands-on experience with SAP TM module, including configuration of transportation orders, freight units, and carrier selection profiles.
• Proficiency in SAP TM configuration and customization.
• Experience with SAP ERP integration and data migration for TM implementations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• SAP TM certification(s) or relevant SAP certifications in logistics and transportation management.
• Experience with other SAP supply chain modules, such as SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) or SAP Global Trade Services (GTS).
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori for user interface customization and enhancement.
• Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
• Understanding of industry-specific challenges and requirements in transportation management, such as those in manufacturing, retail, or distribution sectors.
