SAP ABAP with APO Consultant

Location: Remote (Candidates should be able to work in EST shift till 2 am IST)

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced SAP ABAP Consultants with expertise in APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization) and S/4 HANA modules to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in ABAP programming, along with experience in various SAP modules and technologies. The position requires working in the EST shift till 2 am IST.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize expertise in RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms), OOABAP, CDS Views, OData, Adobe Form, Workflow, ALE/IDOC, and ABAP Development Tools (ADT).
• Develop and implement Database-Independent Programming with Open SQL, ABAP managed database procedures, Views, and ABAP Workbench.
• Work with at least one module of APO (DP, SNP, PPDS, GATP) or S/4 HANA (AATP, PPDS), with exposure towards CIF being an added advantage.
• Demonstrate domain understanding related to APO modules.
• Engage in data migration projects and activities.
• Collaborate on integration projects using PI/PO/CPI or any other third-party tools.
• Participate in customer workshops to understand business and technical requirements.
• Prepare technical specifications based on gathered requirements.
• Perform ABAP developments based on functional and technical specifications.
• Conduct performance optimization and debugging as needed.
• Possess a good understanding of SAP business processes such as Record-to-Report (RTR), Order-to-Cash (OTC), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), etc., in ECC and S/4HANA.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in SAP ABAP development with expertise in relevant technologies and tools.
• Familiarity with APO (DP, SNP, PPDS, GATP) or S/4 HANA (AATP, PPDS) modules.
• Strong understanding of database operations and ABAP Workbench.
• Ability to work in the EST shift till 2 am IST.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• SAP certification (preferred).
