Senior System Analyst

Description

The Senior System Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and enhancement of our company’s systems, with a focus on system administration tasks and Salesforce platform management. The successful candidate will leverage their technical expertise to support various business functions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and administer enterprise systems, including servers, databases, network infrastructure, and software applications, to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.
  2. Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to minimize downtime and disruptions to business operations.
  3. Develop and implement system maintenance procedures, including backups, updates, patches, and upgrades, following best practices and compliance requirements.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions, leveraging Salesforce platform capabilities.
  5. Configure and customize Salesforce to meet business needs, including user management, data migration, workflow automation, and integration with other systems.
  6. Design and develop custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other development tools as needed.
  7. Conduct system analysis and performance tuning to optimize system resources and improve overall efficiency.
  8. Provide technical support and training to end-users on system functionalities, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices.
  9. Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain system documentation.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in system administration and Salesforce platform management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in system administration, with a strong focus on managing enterprise systems and infrastructure.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce administration, configuration, and customization, including Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) certification or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of system architecture, networking principles, and security best practices.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and system management tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer (PD1) or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices is desirable.
