The Oracle EPM Budgeting Techno-Functional Specialist will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support in the implementation, customization, and maintenance of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Budgeting solutions. The successful candidate will possess both technical and functional knowledge to effectively translate business requirements into technical solutions within Oracle EPM.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Configure, customize, and maintain Oracle EPM Budgeting applications, including Oracle Hyperion Planning, Oracle PBCS (Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service), or Oracle EPBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service).
  2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather budgeting requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Oracle EPM.
  3. Design, develop, and implement customizations, extensions, and integrations to meet budgeting and forecasting business needs.
  4. Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for Oracle EPM applications, particularly in the area of budgeting and forecasting.
  5. Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and assist in the development of test plans and scripts related to budgeting functionality.
  6. Participate in upgrade projects and patches for Oracle EPM applications, focusing on enhancements related to budgeting processes and functionality.
  7. Stay updated on Oracle EPM releases, patches, and new features related to budgeting and forecasting to provide recommendations for optimization and enhancement.
  8. Document technical specifications, configurations, and customizations specific to Oracle EPM Budgeting applications.
  9. Train end-users and provide technical guidance and support as needed, particularly in the areas of budgeting and forecasting processes and procedures.
  10. Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure system stability and performance for budgeting operations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in implementing and supporting Oracle EPM Budgeting solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle EPM applications such as Hyperion Planning, PBCS, and EPBCS.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle EPM configurations, customizations, and integrations, specifically tailored to budgeting and forecasting requirements.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Hyperion Essbase, Calculation Manager, Financial Reporting, Smart View, and Data Management.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud EPM releases, patches, and new features.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Oracle certifications in EPM or related areas are a plus.
