Freelance Oracle EPM Consultant (PCMCS) – 8+ Years Experience

Mandatory Skills: Oracle Techno Functional Budgeting, PCMCS

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their profitability and cost management requirements and translate them into technical solutions using PCMCS.
  • Design, configure, and implement PCMCS solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each client, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards.
  • Develop and maintain PCMCS applications, including but not limited to setting up dimensions, models, rules, allocations, and reports, to support accurate cost allocation and profitability analysis.
  • Provide expertise in PCMCS data integration, including loading data from various source systems and ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity within PCMCS applications.
  • Conduct system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of PCMCS applications.
  • Lead training sessions and provide ongoing support to end-users on PCMCS functionality, processes, and best practices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and business analysts, to ensure successful implementation and adoption of PCMCS solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest PCMCS features, enhancements, and updates, and assess their potential impact on client environments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience working with Oracle EPM solutions, with a focus on PCMCS, in a techno-functional role.
  • In-depth understanding of PCMCS architecture, data models, dimensions, and modules, with hands-on experience in configuration and customization.
  • Proficiency in Oracle EPM Cloud technologies, including PCMCS, Oracle Hyperion Planning, Oracle Essbase, and related tools.
  • Strong technical skills in PCMCS data integration, including ETL processes, data mapping, and data validation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering superior client satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle EPM Cloud certification(s) such as Oracle Profitability and Cost Management Cloud Service Specialist.
  • Experience with PCMCS implementation methodologies and best practices, including PCMCS application design and optimization.
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting principles, particularly in the areas of cost accounting, profitability analysis, and management reporting.
  • Experience working in a consulting environment or providing Oracle EPM solutions to clients across various industries.
