We are seeking a seasoned Cherwell Developer with expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) integration to join our team on a freelance basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and integrating Cherwell solutions tailored to our clients’ IT service management needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement Cherwell solutions for IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and Service Request Management.
Customize and configure Cherwell CMDB to accurately represent infrastructure, applications, and services within the IT environment.
Integrate Cherwell with external systems and data sources, ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization between Cherwell and other IT tools and platforms.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Cherwell.
Develop and maintain documentation for Cherwell configurations, customizations, and integrations.
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for Cherwell applications and integrations.
Conduct Cherwell training sessions for end-users and IT staff as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Cherwell Developer, with a focus on ITSM and CMDB integration.
Proficiency in Cherwell development, customization, and configuration, including the use of Cherwell mApp solutions.
Strong understanding of ITSM processes and best practices, with hands-on experience in implementing ITIL-based workflows within Cherwell.
Experience in integrating Cherwell with external systems using APIs, web services, and data connectors.
Familiarity with CMDB concepts and practical experience in configuring and managing CMDBs within Cherwell.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with stakeholders at all levels.
Cherwell certifications, such as Cherwell Certified Architect (CCA) or Cherwell Certified Engineer (CCE), are highly desirable.
