Role Overview:

As a Google BigQuery Developer with over 10 years of experience, you will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights.

You will design, develop, and optimize data solutions using BigQuery, ensuring seamless data processing and analytics for our organization.

Your expertise will drive data-driven decision-making and empower teams to leverage data for strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement data models and schemas in BigQuery to support analytics and reporting needs.

Develop and maintain ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into BigQuery.

Monitor and optimize query performance, ensuring efficient use of BigQuery resources and minimizing costs.

Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Implement data governance and security measures to ensure compliance and protect sensitive information.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, processes, and configurations for knowledge sharing and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related field, with a strong focus on Google BigQuery.

Proficiency in SQL and experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.

Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and tools, such as Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Dataproc.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality data solutions.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in cross-functional teams.

Relevant certifications in Google Cloud or data analytics are a plus.
