We are seeking a talented Selenium Automation Tester with experience in utilizing Selenium’s standard API for web testing, as well as proficiency in automation using Selenium and Cucumber. The ideal candidate will have 6 or more years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing in Agile environments.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, adhering to best practices and standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into automated test cases.
Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and ensure the quality of software products.
Integrate automated tests into continuous integration pipelines and participate in CI/CD processes.
Work closely with developers to reproduce and debug issues found during testing.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on automation best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
6 or more years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing.
Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and Java programming language.
Experience with automation frameworks such as Cucumber, TestNG, or JUnit.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP protocols.
Experience with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester).
Experience with other automation tools and frameworks such as Appium, Protractor, or JMeter.
Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms such as Sauce Labs or BrowserStack.
Experience with performance testing and load testing tools.
