Job Title: Senior SAP ABAP Developer with APO Expertise
Location: Remote (Working in EST shift till 2 am IST)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer with a specialization in Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) to join our team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience and will play a key role in developing and enhancing SAP systems, particularly in the APO module. This position requires working in the EST shift till 2 am IST to align with our global operations.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate advanced expertise in RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms), OOABAP, CDS Views, OData, Adobe Form, Workflow, ALE/IDOC, and ABAP Development Tools (ADT).
Utilize extensive experience in Database-Independent Programming with Open SQL, ABAP managed database procedures, Database level operations, Views, and ABAP Workbench to develop robust solutions.
Exhibit hands-on experience in at least one module of APO (DP, SNP, PPDS, GATP) or S/4 HANA (AATP, PPDS) with exposure towards CIF considered advantageous.
Apply deep domain understanding related to APO modules to effectively address complex business requirements.
Lead Data Migration projects and activities ensuring accuracy and integrity of data throughout the process.
Leverage knowledge of integration projects using PI/PO/CPI or other third-party tools to ensure seamless connectivity between systems.
Engage proactively in customer workshops to thoroughly understand both business and technical requirements.
Prepare comprehensive Technical Specifications based on gathered requirements.
Execute ABAP developments meticulously based on provided Functional and Technical Specifications.
Conduct thorough Performance optimization and Debugging activities to ensure optimal system performance.
Possess an in-depth understanding of SAP business processes (RTR, OTC, P2P, etc.) in both ECC and S/4HANA environments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer with a focus on APO modules.
Proficiency in RICEF, OOABAP, CDS Views, OData, Adobe Form, Workflow, ALE/IDOC, and ABAP Development Tools (ADT).
Strong expertise in Database-Independent Programming with Open SQL and ABAP Workbench.
Hands-on experience with at least one module of APO (DP, SNP, PPDS, GATP) or S/4 HANA (AATP, PPDS), CIF exposure preferred.
Experience leading Data Migration projects and integration projects using PI/PO/CPI or similar tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment and adhere to EST shift timings till 2 am IST.
