The Oracle HCM US Payroll Specialist will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support in the implementation, customization, and maintenance of Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) modules, specifically focusing on US Payroll. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the accurate and compliant processing of payroll for our US employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Configure, customize, and maintain Oracle HCM modules related to US Payroll, including but not limited to payroll processing, tax withholding, deductions, and reporting.
  2. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to gather payroll requirements and ensure alignment with business needs and regulatory compliance.
  3. Design, develop, and implement customizations, extensions, and integrations to meet US payroll processing requirements, including complex payroll calculations, benefits administration, and tax compliance.
  4. Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for Oracle HCM applications, particularly in the area of US Payroll.
  5. Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and assist in the development of test plans and scripts related to US payroll functionality.
  6. Participate in upgrade projects and patches for Oracle HCM applications, focusing on enhancements related to US payroll processes and compliance.
  7. Stay updated on US payroll regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
  8. Document technical specifications, configurations, and customizations specific to Oracle HCM US Payroll modules.
  9. Train end-users and provide technical guidance and support as needed, particularly in the areas of US payroll processing and reporting.
  10. Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure system stability and performance for US payroll operations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in implementing and supporting Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) modules, with a focus on US Payroll.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle HCM modules such as Payroll, Core HR, Benefits, and Time and Labor.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM configurations, customizations, and integrations, specifically tailored to US payroll requirements.
  • In-depth understanding of US payroll regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud releases, patches, and new features.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation or equivalent certification is a plus.
