Freelance Oracle SCM Fusion Consultant (UK Time Zone).

Manufacturing & OM – PaaS extension CR for Production Scheduling, Inventory, Supply Chain Planning / Manufacturing, OM (70% Technical, 30% Functional), Maintenance, Supply planning, demand planning

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise and support in the implementation, configuration, and customization of Oracle SCM Fusion modules, particularly in Inventory, Supply Chain Planning / Manufacturing, and Order Management.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective solutions within Oracle SCM Fusion applications.
  • Design, develop, and implement customizations, extensions, and integrations to meet client-specific needs using Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies.
  • Conduct system analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and enhancement requests.
  • Assist in the testing and quality assurance processes, including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to end-users and project stakeholders on Oracle SCM Fusion functionality, best practices, and system usage.
  • Stay updated on the latest Oracle SCM Fusion releases, features, and enhancements, and proactively recommend opportunities for system optimization and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle SCM Fusion applications, including Inventory, Supply Chain Planning / Manufacturing, and Order Management modules.
  • Strong technical proficiency with Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies, including Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF), and Oracle BI Publisher.
  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) for customization and integration purposes.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations and upgrades is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business processes and requirements.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Oracle SCM Fusion certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud SCM Functional Consultant, Oracle Cloud SCM Technical Consultant) are a plus.
