Job Description:

We are seeking a proficient Oracle Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud security and extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing security solutions in Oracle Cloud environments. As an Oracle Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and compliance of our Oracle Cloud infrastructure and applications.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements for Oracle Cloud deployments.
• Design, implement, and manage security controls and solutions to protect Oracle Cloud environments, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), network security, data encryption, and monitoring.
• Configure and manage security policies, rules, and configurations in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Cloud Applications, and Oracle Cloud Platform services.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including security standards, procedures, and guidelines.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams during Oracle Cloud implementations and migrations.
• Monitor security events and incidents, and respond to security alerts and incidents in a timely manner.
• Stay updated on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices in cloud security.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.

Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT security, with a focus on cloud security.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, particularly Oracle Cloud.
• Experience with security controls and solutions in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Cloud Applications, and Oracle Cloud Platform services.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing security features such as IAM, network security (firewalls, VPNs), encryption, and logging.
• Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, such as Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS), Oracle Cloud Guard, Oracle Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), and Oracle Security Monitoring and Analytics (SMA).
• Knowledge of security standards and frameworks, such as NIST, CIS, ISO/IEC 27001.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Relevant certifications such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certifications, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) are preferred.
