Azure DEvops Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure, and extensive experience in implementing DevOps practices and automation solutions. As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and monitoring solutions on the Azure platform.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to understand application requirements and deployment processes.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Services or similar tools for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Azure DevTest Labs.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and management of Azure resources and services using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Azure Automation.
• Configure and manage Azure DevOps Services, including repositories, pipelines, boards, and test plans.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions for Azure resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability on the Azure platform.
• Provide technical guidance and support to teams on best practices for Azure DevOps, infrastructure automation, and cloud-native architectures.

Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Services, including Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, and Azure Test Plans.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Azure DevTest Labs.
• Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Azure Automation.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions for cloud environments, including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
