Role Overview:
As a Pega Tester with 8+ years of experience, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Pega applications through comprehensive testing strategies.
You will work closely with development teams to understand application requirements and perform manual and automated testing, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Your expertise will play a critical role in delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Pega applications.
Perform manual and automated testing of Pega applications, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand application requirements and identify testing needs.
Report, track, and manage defects using defect tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.
Conduct reviews of requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide feedback on testability and coverage.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Pega’s testing tools or other automation frameworks.
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in testing Pega applications with a strong understanding of the Pega platform.
Proficiency in Pega testing tools (e.g., Pega Unit Testing, Pega Test Automation) and methodologies.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Quality Center).
Strong knowledge of software testing life cycle (STLC) and testing best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
